Please Advise

I have to make a choice between visiting Athens (in June) and Copenhagen (in November). I've been to Athens twice previously, and love the place. Never been to Copenhagen, though.

Any advice?

P.S.: In keeping with the unintentional Tom Waits theme that's been running through this blog, note that "Tom Traubert's Blues" is set in Copenhagen. Is that a reason to go there?

Reasons to Choose Copenhagen:

1. Having never been there, you can either add it to your list of places where your own Justice in all its facets does or does not prevail. Knowledge, supposedly, is power.
2. I was accepted to the Athens conference, but will not be able to go. The lack of my presence in Athens and Greece in general greatly lessens the Justice of this conference.
3. The Athens conference itself has no value in terms of making relevant refutations to anyone worth refuting. If there is any refutation value at the Copenhagen conference, it outweighs the one at Athens.
4. Athens and Greece are awesome, indeed, but the women in Denmark are ultra-hot. The hottest women in Greece will be tourists from Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Go to the source.
5. Tom Waits' "Tom Traubert's Blues" is set in Copenhagen. Go to the source.

By the dog!

A most compelling series of considerations! Add that the Copenhagen conference is devoted to a topic I'm interested in (whereas the Athens conference is a general conference), and I think we have an old shirt that is stained with blood and whiskey.

I think it depends what you are looking to get out of it. I have no doubt that the Copenhagen conference will have the better questions and interaction. Plus, I am a fan of Tivoli (in Copenhagen's centre). Copenhagen is a wonderful place to visit, very easy to get to, and very easy to get around. Normally, very highly recommended.

As for Greece, I can't get enough of the weather, landscape, and food.

If you're going with an eye to doing some philosophy and taking a holiday, then I'd go to Greece. If you'd rather see somewhere new (and exciting) even if not as warm as Greece...and have a better audience...then Denmark.

Sound advice! Thanks, dude.

And Denmark has better metal.

Denmark is one place I've always really wanted to go to. In addition to Danish metal, I hear there's quite an S&M scene in Copenhagen.
