Very interesting, I was browsing through some of the Play Mobil items for sale. I saw the HazMat team and also the Safe Crackers.

What i truly find disturbing is under the "People who looked at this item also looked at" section. One of the top selections was "Dianetics" by Elron Hubbard

They should make a special Newark Airport edition: all the cops and baggage handlers must overtly hate their jobs, there must be unnecessary confusion about where lines begin and end, there must be people on line in front of you who were somehow unaware that they would need to show ID, odd construction everywhere, every plane is delayed, etc., etc.

With a sign over it saying "Liberty International Airport, proud supplier of one of the planes used on Sept 11th 2001

NICE!!!!

I like that on amazon the people who viewed this product also viewed a "pimp" costume for kids...

Awesome, but they need to have removeable soes on the characters to simulate the useless "shoe bomber" security check. Since they don't supply the Playmobil chemical sniffer option, that search is rather moot anyways just like in real life.

Good point about the shoes. And the guy is wearing a sweater over his shoulders-- he'd have to remove that as well.

Umm...the comments are of the order of Tuscan Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz, as far as I can tell. Parodies. An Un-Doom sign. Maybe I'm completely not getting why you've designated this as Doom.

Some are just excellent:

I purchased the Playmobil Security Check Point for my two year old nephew. (He acts three when he chokes.) I wrapped this gift for his birthday and packed it in my carry-on bag, whereupon I proceeded to check into my Delta flight to attend his birthday. I put the carry-on bag on the conveyor belt, and the bag disappeared into the x-ray machine.

The TSA official staring at the x-ray monitor became agitated and beckoned for another TSA official to look. The conveyor belt moved back and forth several times with my bag still in its bowels, presumably because the TSA officials wanted a better look. By this point I was standing at the far end of the x-ray machine, waiting for my bag and my nephew's birthday gift to emerge. However, the second TSA official asked me to follow her. I did, and she took me to a room a few steps away from the conveyor belt. A man wearing a black leather jacket was waiting in the room, and the female TSA official left and closed the door behind her. "I am Heinrich," he said. "Your papers, please," he ordered. I handed Heinrich my driver's license and my Amazon credit card.

Even more entertaining, under the "also viewed" was this interesting item.

The "also viewed" is a little scary.

But the Land Cruiser is classic.

Don't miss the Playmobil HasMat team...

I most definitely need one of these!

Penguin: With regards to the Badonkadonk Battle Cruiser, which looks a bit like Jabba's battle skiffs from Return of the Jedi, I love the comment, "as I'm dishing out justice commando style" while describing the merits of the 400 watt sound system for the tank. Yes, because we all need a personal soundtrack when riding into "battle" in our 40 mph tank that's not licensed for use on public roads. Crazy stuff!
