Early Voting Rules

All you jerks out there who enjoy the time flexibility that comes along with being an academic should engage in early voting. Give the person who'll be voting after a long day at work on Election Day a break.

BTW, listening to Husker Du's Zen Arcade right now. Take that.

Thanks for the prompt, Dickhead. This jerk voted today.

I voted today, well before the lunch hour, and was surprised at how busy it was. I really enjoy the oldsters enjoying doing their civic duty by working the polls. Not a cranky jerk among them.

I am not listening to Hüsker Dü right now, but I am planning a trip to Greg Norton's (well, his and his wife's) restaurant this weekend, which by all reports is first-rate.

I'm listening to the Pixies' Surfer Rosa right now. I'm currently convinced that "River Euphrates" is the greatest song ever.

Glad to hear it, jackass.

Enjoy Norton's. But you should be listening to Husker Du. To be sure, The Pixies are very, very good. But it's hard to beat the stuff on Zen Arcade.

Have you heard Bowie's cover of "Cactus"?

Do the Dü, say I!

I have not heard that Bowie cover. I saw Arcade Fire do a great cover of "Five Years" a couple of years ago...

Is the umlaut the typographical equivalent of the cowbell?
