Game Over for McCain

I just watched last night's debate again.

If it's not game over for McCain by week's end, we will know that political debates are meaningless even as media-fueled exercises in empty rhetoric! Obama trounced on every level, from substance to style to brute oratory. Good night, John.

Agreed.
This fellow prisoner is glad to see him disappear from the stage...
Let's hope OBL's not going to emerge from a Holiday Inn Express in Virginia over the next week or two.

Given the rhetoric at Palin rallies, I'm worried that the GOP has got other sorts of surprises planned.

Didn't dubya loose the Presidential debates in 2000 and 2004?

If that is true, then I think the egg is already in our faces.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel (which is my local paper now), Obama is now ahead of McCain (49% to 44%) in Florida, which is one of those "swing states."

In South Florida, Obama actually opened a can of whup-ass on McCain and is leading 62% to 30%, but the rest of the state (with the exception of the Tampa area) seems to be throwing that off.
