No Sleep Till Chicago
Off to Chicago in a few hours for what increasingly looks guaranteed to be an amazing celebration. If you'll be there too, keep an eye out for me-- I'll be flashing the secret sign.

How was the bash. It looked like a sea of people from the news feeds. Hopefully we are on the path to justice.
I don't know if he did, but he should have. My repetitive listening disorder kicked in on my drive to work on Wednesday, and I just kept playing that sucker over and over.
They considered the Clash's, "Death or Glory", but it turns out that the nun-fucker vote was unlikely to turn Ohio blue...
Observations from an old cranky jerk who happens to be a professional philosopher. Occasionally philosophical, most often just vulgar. Sometimes focused on sober points of logic and issues in political theory, but more frequently fixed on nonsense. Bad metal bands, crappy guitarists, stupid lyrics, celebrities, pop "culture," telemarketers, irrationality, and other annoyances. Always misanthropic. Anti-religious. Not particularly amusing, either. Some might say insulting. Strange mail. Kook magnet. Doom. Comments from other cranky jerks, young and old.

Amazing. I'll try to post some pics in a day or so. Wild night. Haven't slept for 30 hours. Reminds me of the old days....
I'm really envious that you were able to attend that. Congratulations, it looked like a truly incredible event. You were there ...
Anon:
It was really something to see.
Spiros: That sounds great.
In the spirit of the day, here's a little humour.

Exactly. Do you think Obama ever considered that song as his campaign theme? That would have definitely locked down the punk rock vite...
