I hope it's not a joke, as the mixture of the song (which almost sounds like a joke, though I guess it isn't) with the photos is great. But what it mostly makes me wonder is, do iguanas crap all over the place, or can you train them to us a litter box or something?
Watching the iguana and boy literally grow together against the background of that lovely carrie underwood song, my heart warmed, and itself grew two sizes if you will. where once there was an areligious, liberal-minded philosophy professor, now I stand before you, hands joined with the whos of whoville, america.
A work of philosophy could consist of a series of jokes. A work of philosophy could not consist of a series of this video. Therefore, this video is not a joke.
Observations from an old cranky jerk who happens to be a professional philosopher. Occasionally philosophical, most often just vulgar. Sometimes focused on sober points of logic and issues in political theory, but more frequently fixed on nonsense. Bad metal bands, crappy guitarists, stupid lyrics, celebrities, pop "culture," telemarketers, irrationality, and other annoyances. Always misanthropic. Anti-religious. Not particularly amusing, either. Some might say insulting. Strange mail. Kook magnet. Doom. Comments from other cranky jerks, young and old.

Barbecue cooking! xD
That iguana ate that kid, you know.
For obvious reasons, watching that reminded me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cAChVVVZaM
It's pretty clearly not a joke. Why would you think it is?
At best it's not intended to be a joke. But it's a joke alright.
