Not a Disaster

I think it's safe to say at this point that the online JFP is not a disaster.  It's been up and (mostly) functional for a full month.  I'm not sure I fully understand all of the function and layout choices, and I still find the whole site clumsy.  The other philosophy jobs sites are much better, it seems to me.  But this is by far better than what I had grown accustomed to expect from the APA.

Who are you and what have you done with Spiros!

Good God, might this be an imposter? I guess we'll know if a post praising Billy Joel appears.

The APA does deserve credit on this one.

"Where is Spiros?" Anon 4:47 cried;

"I will tell you. We have killed him -- you and I. All of us are his murderers.

Well I find his grudging admission that something APA-related is not a diaster quite sexy

9:01: We still have vanquish Spiros's shadow too. What is this blog but the tomb and sepulcher of Spiros?

obviously job stuff is really important to everyone but when people complain about APA tech sometimes it makes me think of Louis CK: http://youtu.be/KpUNA2nutbk
